G. Bradley Nelson
Nelson First Consulting LLC
The choices we make as we travel through life give us
some interesting outcomes. With a college education and what now totals
over 30 years of experience in the various building trades I have
unique perspectives to bring to the table.
In 1990, what would later come to be called Nelson First Consulting
LLC first came into existence.
The business was born out of a need to supplement a summer-only
blacktop business in northern Minnesota. The business soon expanded from the simple construction
aspects of remodeling, sheet rocking, taping and texturing and
moved into full renovations and additions. From there, it blossomed
into a full construction / renovation / custom home building operation.
We take pride in doing our work from the ground up. It could begin
with clearing out trees, or digging and building the basement and
finishes when you, the owner, can turn the key to unlock the door
to your new dream home. Whatever the situation, an A+ job is guaranteed. |

In 1999, through the Minnesota Department of Health, I
became a Licensed Lead Certified Firm.I had added the Abatement
Supervisor License at that time, license # LS 938. It wasn't long and
my interests in lead grew. Being involved in lead-related projects,
experiencing the safe handling of the various lead hazards in these
projects and seeing the problems that lead presents to individuals in
theirs homes, I decided to pursue expanding my careerin lead. I became
a fully accredited and Licensed Risk Assessor, license # LR 938 in
2005.More recently I became a Licensed Project Designer, license # LD
938. Since 2005, I have been involved in doing inspections and
assessments for everything from small residential structures to large
apartment complexes; I am qualified and fully capable of tackling any
job.
In 2006 I began assisting Greg A. Myers of Midwest Environmental
Consulting LLC with the various courses he offers and instructs. That
same year I began teching contractors about lead safe work in
continuing education credits for license renewal requirements. In
Feburary of 2009 I went to the train-the-trainer course for the EPA's
Certified Renovator Course and have been a primary instructor that has
taught over 5000 individuals the lead safe work practices and
requirements for individual and firm certifications required by the
Environmental Protection Agency.
So, if you're interested in attending
lead course instruction with practical applications, Lead Risk
Assessments, having projects designed to be lead safe or just building
or remodeling we have what it takes to get the job done. So remember,
be sure to call Nelson First. |
